Meet the Attorneys

Bankruptcy Attorney Dan ScottC. Dan Scott began practicing law in April of 1983 after graduating from the University of Tennessee summa cum laude. He graduated No. 1 in his law school class from the George C. Taylor School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee.

For over 25 years Mr. Scott has helped individuals and businesses solve conflict by negotiation and by litigation through the court system, including the United States Bankruptcy Courts located in Knoxville and Greenville, Tennessee.

Additionally a large portion of his time is spent in assisting in real estate development, closing of residential and commercial transactions, as well as assisting several banks with loan closings.

Mr. Scott is a member of the

  • American Bar Association
  • National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys
  • Tennessee Bar Association
  • Sevier County Bar Association.

Mr. Scott is admitted to practice in all courts including the Tennessee Supreme Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, United States District Court and United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Scott is enjoying over 36 years of marriage to the love of his life.  He’s enjoying being a grandfather of two precious little boys.

Attorney Barry EubanksBarry W. Eubanks has been practicing law with the  Scott Law Group, PC in 1998. A native of Humboldt, Tennessee, Mr. Eubanks received a B.S. with high honors in accounting at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1977, and subsequently earned a joint JD-MBA degree from George C. Taylor Law School and the University Of Tennessee School Of Business Administration in 1980.

While at the George C. Taylor Law School, Mr. Eubanks was a member of the Tennessee Law Review’s Editorial Board in 1981-82.

Mr. Eubanks is a member of both the Tennessee and Georgia Bar, and he is authorized to practice in all Tennessee State Courts, the Federal District Court, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and before the United States Court of International Trade.
